Joint Science Definition Team: Titan-Saturn
A study was conducted by two sub-teams with US and European membership that worked as a seemless integrated unit to form a focused Titan Saturn System Mission.
The NASA-chartered Joint Science Definition Team (JSDT) focused on the science aspects, while the US and European Engineering Team focused on the technical and programmatic aspects of the collaborative NASA/ESA mission concept. There was continuous interaction between the two teams throughout the study ensuring that the science goals and objectives were maximized within technical and programmatic constraints.
