OPFM Instrument Workshop June 3-5, 2008 - 06.12.2008

The first OPFM Instrument Workshop was held June 3-5, 2008, in Monrovia, California. Approximately 250 attendees from 8 different countries participated in this workshop designed to prepare the outer planet community for an upcoming opportunities to propose investigations for an international Outer Planet Flagship mission that is planned for a new start in fiscal 2009.

Invited speakers provided overviews of NASA and ESA elements of the Europa Jupiter System Mission and the Titan Saturn System Mission, as well as in depth presentations on the difficult environmental and accommodation challenges that instrument packages must meet. The presentations are currently available as PDF downloads on this website at the following link.

Presentations with embedded audio will be available also on this website by end of month. The EJSM and TSSM study teams wish to thank all the participants for their enthusiastic interest in these exciting mission possibilities.
