NASA –ESA Joint Summary Reports Released to Public – Jan 16, 2009 - 01.19.2009
NASA and ESA today, released the Joint Summary Reports (JSRs) for both the Europa Jupiter System Mission (PDF, 9.65 MB) and the Titan Saturn System Mission (PDF, 11.67 MB). The Joint Summary Reports provide a high level description of the science rationale and goals, the mission concept; and the NASA and ESA roles in each missions. The NASA Study Reports and ESA Assessment Reports that provide a much more detailed description of each mission have not yet been publically released. The decision on which mission will go forward will be made at the end of January and announced in early February.
